Sunday Night Youth Group
Grades 7-12 meet together at HP for worship and fun. We start at 6PM in the sanctuary and end at around 7:30PM in the gym. It is a great time to socialize with new and old friends while being challenged to grow in your faith!
Growing Pointes for Students
We have a Senior High class that meets in the conference room just to the left of the main entrance. This gathering focuses on the Biblical perspective of a variety of issues that intersects with the lives of the high school student’s life.
The Middle School class meets in the youth room near the gym. This gathering focuses on a specific book of the Bible and helps the students to see how God’s Word relates to their lives!
Retreats and Youth Trips
We currently plan 2 main trips per year.
The Mid-Winter Retreat held in late January or early February has become an annual event that everyone looks forward to! The retreat always includes awesome worship, a challenging speaker, and a lot of fun time for us as a group…and hopefully a lot of snow!
Our summer trip schedule is on a four year cycle. That cycle includes:
- National Mission trip
- Nazarene Youth Conference (4 year denominational event)
- International Mission Trip
- Discipleship/Leadership Focused Trip
Serving others
There are many opportunities to serve others. We try to serve as a youth group one time per quarter. Details for these service projects are usually given out at youth group and through the church bulletin.
Students who would like to serve High Pointe and the youth group are invited to join the Student Leadership Team. For more info and an application see Pastor Josh!
