What to Do With Your Kids

During our main worship services on Sunday mornings, we have a variety of ministries focused on children of all ages.

  • Nursery (ages newborn to 2 years old)
  • Early Childhood (ages 3 to 4 years old)
  • Galilee Gang (DK to 4th Grade), which includes children’s worship, small groups, a game or craft and a Bible teaching time
  • 56’ers (grades 5 and 6)-these students will begin in the sanctuary with a time of worship, then are dismissed after prayer time to go to their time of teaching as a group

We believe that ministry to our children is much more than child care. We want our kids to experience an environment that is safe, secure and fun! And centered around knowing Jesus more and to live in a relationship with Him.

Check-In

Check in is a priority for our children’s ministry. From nursery through 4th grade, the children are given a name tag and parents will receive a card that has the name of the child and a unique number in case that we need to get in touch with you. These tags are for your child’s safety and a method that we use to help put you at ease in case there is a need to reach you.

If it is your first time to High Pointe, when you enter the building you will want to go to the Welcome Center immediately to the right as you come in the main doors. At the Welcome Center, you will receive a visitor’s tag for each of your children. The tag has a number on it so if you would need to be contacted, we can reach you with the red number display in the sanctuary.

As with all of our children’s ministries, each worker has been screened, and has gone through an orientation to ensure a healthy, safe and secure environment.
