Greg grew up in Indiana, though that is not where he was born; that is what he calls his "growing up" place. It was in youth group that he entered into his passion and love for the Lord and reading the Word. He met, fell in love and married his lovely wife Beth in college. He graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, IL with a degree in Religion and further studied at Nazarene Theological Seminary, completing his Masters of Christian Education in 1999. He has been in full time ministry ever since, serving as Associate Pastor and Lead Pastor in Michigan, Indiana and Florida. He loves to hang out with his wife, play board games, and most of all, play volleyball. His passion is to lead people into a growing love for Jesus. He wants the world to know that serving God is the best decision anyone could make, not only here on earth, but for all eternity, and it is a wild and fun journey. He hopes everyone he meets can know that too.

Eva Vander Woude is our office secretary and administrator. She not only takes care of several office responsibilities, but she is also very active in various ministry areas as well. Whether she's working on the bulletin, paying bills, maintaining the church calendar, or ordering supplies, she's doing it with a true servant's heart. She knows that her primary goal each week is to enable her pastors to focus on the things they do best, bring the rest of us closer to Christ.
Eva lives in Byron Center with her husband, Jon. They have two children, Justin and Amanda, who attend Byron Center Public Schools. They love to spend time together as a family while camping and boating in the summer and skiing in the winter.

Beth was added to the High Pointe staff in November of 2011 as our Music and Worship Coordinator. She is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University, with a major in psychology and a minor in music. She has been married to her husband, Greg, since 1996. Beth grew up on the east side of the state and considers herself a true Michigander. A lover of music and creative arts, Beth is grateful that God uses these avenues to touch the soul when sometimes words cannot. Her heart is to see God, experience Him and to “make sense” of God in her world. This has become a passion that she is called to share with others, and to help others discover a new and refreshing worship experience too.
Beth is married to Greg whom she loves spending time with-he makes her laugh and she is blessed that God gave her such a great friend to share life with. When she is not at the church, she enjoys traveling, eating at new places (preferably good ones!) and having a good cup of coffee in her hands.
