Growing Pointes for Children
Psalm 119 tells us that the Word of God is a “lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” Each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m., our kids get the chance to hear, study and apply God’s word to their lives. Loving teachers who love and care about each child will guide and teach them during this time each Sunday. This is a vital part of our children having a solid foundation of truth, values and beliefs that will prepare them for the rest of their lives.
Children’s Church
High Pointe is a very kid-safe, family friendly environment! We value children greatly and believe they are an essential part of the church today. Our dedicated children's staff work hard each week to provide a relevent message to children of all ages. We sing, create with our hands and engage the stories of the Bible into the hearts of the youngest participants in our church. We meet during the 10:30 service.
Each Sunday, we offer:
- Nursery - infant to 2 years old
- Early Childhood - 3 years to 4 years old
- Galilee Gang - DK to 4th grade
- 56’ers (5th and 6th grade)
Kidz Praize
If you are looking for a fun and exciting way to learn more about God, minister to others and discover and use your gifts of music, drama and choreography, then check out our dynamic Kidz Praize ministry. KP is for children in grades 3-6 who want to sing and move and discover fun and creative ways to tell others about Jesus. They usually have two musicals a year (Christmas and Spring/Easter time) and normally practice on Wednesday nights. You have to see this dynamic ministry first-hand to see its’ impact.
CAMP PRAIZE for kids DK-2nd grade are welcome to join us on July 8 - 11, 9:30-11:30 for a time of learning music learning the Bible and having a great snack. On Thursday July 11 in the evening we will be performing the mini-musical and sharing all that we have learned during the week. Click here to find out more: Camp Praize
Special Events
SUMMER Vacation Bible School 2013: Click on the picture to register for VBS, it's never to early! Not only can you register but there will be additional information available for you to read, listen to and explore.
During VBS, our mission project will be to raise money to help with future surgeries for a young boy named Quincy. At this time because of his medical needs he is not eligible for adoption. When Quincy receives these surgeries and becomes healthy enough he may be adopted into a forever family.
SUMMER KIDS CAMPS:
Every year we have an opportunity to join severael other church to use the Indian Lake Camp and Conference Center in Indian Lake Michigan. Visit: http://www.ilnccamps.org/ for all the information and to register. This year there are two camps for elementry age kids:
Discovery Camp for 1st-3rd Grades: July 1st-3rd "Discover God . . . Discover Friends . . ."
Boys/Girls Camp for 3rd-5th Grades: July 29- Aug 2nd
Girls Theme:NCIS and Boys Theme:Amazing Race
