Each week will promote a shared experience for parents and their children. LAF aims to get the family excited about learning.

VALUE DRIVEN
The emphasis at LAF is on Biblical values that will help everyone develop faith and character. Each month, we’ll tackle a new virtue and with the help of creative skits and songs, we’ll learn as a family tangible ways to apply these virtues in our lives.

CREATIVELY WIRED
Our message is timeless–our method is not. At LAF, we’ll use any tool available to communicate our message. Our team will use high energy music, drama and storytelling to inspire and challenge you!

USER FRIENDLY
The LAF team will work hard to create a predictable and non-threatening place for our families. The unique part of this program isn’t the program itself, but rather it’s found in the resources that will go home with you, (Virtue Packs) help your family to keep sharing the message heard on Sunday all week long!

The LAF Experience.

     Our dynamic LAF Ministry launched at High Pointe in the fall of 2005!  This wonderful family worship experience combines effective drama and high-impact music with the timeless truths of God's Word.  The result is a combustible 45-minutes known as LAF. 

Why LAF?

     In brief, because families matter to us!  At LAF, families are given a precious tool to help them understand life and God's role in their life.  We call that tool "the shared experience."  Parents, Grandparents, Kids, and Teens, share the experience of LAF together which allows for rich conversation and dialogue.

What should I expect at LAF?

     Our LAF Productions will be the 1st and 3rd week of the month. These productions will begin with a couple of high-energy songs that your family will sing all week long!  With the words on our projection screen, you can sing along and even do the motions!  We have a team of hosts who will introduce us to our virtue of the month.  This virtue always has great application to everyday life for the whole family. Next, you'll be transformed to the LAF Clubhouse where our fantastic drama team will combine humor with easy to identify dilemmas that will help us understand our virtue even better.  A great Bible story is applied to the virtue that will help us understand why this virtue is important to God.  We’ll sing the virtue song of the month and take it down for the final landing.

     The other two Sundays of the month will be what we are calling a Mini LAF!  These evenings will consist of service projects, game nights, food events, talent show, and other misc. events. Still focusing on the virtue of the month and how that applies to the event.

What is a Virtue Pack?

     This wonderful tool is the key to the LAF Ministry and is available each month. It contains helpful tools for parents to teach our virtue at home and throughout the week.  Your family will love the Drive Time CD that contains an audio drama featuring the LAF cast.  Dinner will be transformed through the Meal Time questions. – and there is more!  This is a must have and are available at our resource table for $10.00.
