High Pointe is a very kid-safe, family friendly environment!  We value children greatly and believe they are an essential part of the church today.  Our dedicated children's staff work hard each week to provide a relevent message to children of all ages.  We sing, create with our hands and engage the stories of the Bible into the hearts of the youngest participants in our church.

Each Sunday, we offer:

   Nursery - infant to 2 years old

   Early Childhood - 2 years to 4 years old

   Galilee Gang - DK to 6th grade

      (DK to 3rd grade in the large group room; 4th to 6th grade in the music room)

Children's Small Groups:

Looking for a mid-week option for your children?  Our small group ministry takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 pm (October thru March). Groups are age-appropriate and utilize active learning with wonderful spiritual truths. 

Kidz Praize:

Each year, our children participate in several musical productions.  These powerful presentations challenge our children to live out their faith in practical ways.  Your child will love participating in these encouraging musicals.

Out Loud:

Every Sunday, our children have precious moments of worship through the ministry of Out Loud. Out Loud is our worship team for Galilee Gang Ministry.  Children are taught powerful songs of God's love and strength by utilizing exhilerating motions.  These songs will connect your child with the Lord!  Children in 3rd grade and above can participate in Out Loud.

Bible Quizzing:

The Church of the Nazarene has had a tremendous program for helping children learn and even memorize scripture for many years.  High Pointe children who want to participate in quizzing, attend practice each Sunday morning (9:00 am) and then compete in competitions throughout western Michigan several times per year.  This ministry takes place September through March.
