What is ministry for adults all about?

High Pointe strives to create opportunities for all ages.  From our youngest to our oldest attender, we want to encourage everyone along in their spiritual journey!  When it comes to adults, we understand the complexity of busy schedules and enormous pressures at work and home.  So we try to offer events that meet everyday needs (building relationships and friendships, sharing a meal together, learning more about Jesus through reading the Bible).

Connect with other Women:

Our Women's Ministry is an active group!  We often gather to celebrate the birth of a child or someone getting married.  Weekly Bible studies are held on Tuesdays.

Connect with other Men:

Our Men's Ministry is gearing up for some great things! We have weekly men's prayer on Thursday and Saturday mornings.  We also enjoy a time called Tool Time the third Saturday of most months.  Just the men get together for breakfast, getting to know each other better and encouraging each other.  It's a great way to start a weekend.

Marriage:

On April 27 & 28, 2012 High Pointe offers a marriage retreat with Dan Seaborn.  More details will be coming.

Athletics:

A great way to get to know others is by playing!  Kids do that all that time, right?  So, we like to sponsor athletic events to help men, women and families connect in relationship with each other.  Each summer we sponsor children's baseball and softball teams in the Byron Center community.  We also have several softball teams (for men and women) each summer and fall.  Open gym basketball takes place during the winter along with our fantasy football leagues.   Women enjoy a Zumba class on Monday mornings.  Fitness classes are offered to anyone on Tuesdays at 6:30.  Volley ball is open to anyone 18 or older on Thursday nights at 7:30.
