Have you been searching for more significance in life?  Do you feel a desire to investigate the truths found in the Bible?  High Pointe exists to help you in this spiritual journey!  No doubt you will have questions (that's why you are looking at this page, right?).  Check out the following FAQ’s.  Hopefully, this will answer many of your questions.

What should I expect on a Sunday morning?

You can expect a friendly and casual atmosphere as you join us on Sunday morning.  We hope that you would come as you are and join us as we search the timeless truths of God’s Word (the Bible) to see how we can experience real and abundant life.  You’ll enjoy our live band and you’ll encounter many people a lot like you that are sincerely glad to see you.  In addition to our worship time at 10:30 each Sunday, and if you’re looking for a small group to learn and grow with, come check out our Growing Pointes classes that meet each Sunday at 9:15 am.  There is a group for EVERY age.  Someone from our Welcome Center will be able to help you find the right class for you and to help your children find an age-appropriate class for them as well.

What should I wear to High Pointe?

Each Sunday we'll see just a little of everything.  Honestly, we aren't concerned about how anyone dresses.  We have friends in shorts and t-shirts sitting right next to another friend dressed in khaki's and a polo (and everything in between).  Our focus is not on the exterior of anyone - it's about the heart of seeking and finding the Lord!  Come just as you are!!

Where do I park?

We have space for you to park in our parking area, but there is also a drive up area at the main door if you would like to drop off anyone from your family.  There will be parking lot and door greeters that can assist you with anything that you may need.

What programs are there for my children?

During our main worship services on Sunday mornings, we have programming for children of all ages.

Nursery (ages newborn to 2 years old)

Early Childhood (ages 2 to 4 years old)

Galilee Gang DK to 4th Grade (Children's worship and teaching group)

Galilee Gang 5th and 6th Grade (Children's worship and teaching group)

We believe that ministry to our children is much more than child care.  We want our kids to experience an environment that is safe, secure and fun!  And that it is all centered around knowing Jesus more and to live in a relationship with Him.

What about youth ministry?

We have a lot of teenagers that are a vital part of our church and ministry life here at High Pointe.  Starting this fall, our teens will be meeting on Sunday evenings here at High Pointe.

Do I need to bring anything?

Not really.  If you have a Bible, bring it.  We also provide Bibles in seats if you would like to use them.  We will receive an offering, but you shouldn't feel any pressure to give.  Our offering time is an expression of worship for those who call High Pointe their church home and is completely voluntary.

What are ministries does High Pointe have?

There are plenty other things going on in addition to Sunday mornings, so check out the rest of our website for the details of these ministries.  Here are a few highlights…

LAF (Life’s About Family) Family Worship:  Join us once a month on a Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. as we use a variety of different programs, activities and fellowship activities as we learn and grow as both a biological family and a church family.  You’ll enjoy this time with the whole family with upbeat music, drama, video and Bible story for the whole family.

Wednesday Nights:  This fall we will be offering a Growing Pointes class for adults.  Stay tuned for more details.

MOPS:  Begining in September, we are opening a new MOPS program.  Registration is required, please contact the office to register (583-1451 or office@high-pointe.org).

Youth Group:  Our teens meet every other week on Sunday nights.  There are various activities, cirriculums and of course, food!
