2006-2009 Building the Future Campaign ::
In the fall of 2006, High Pointe began to make our dreams of a new church facility become a reality. Our church board and leaders discussed the importance of three critical areas at High Pointe:
1) Future Facilities
2) Additional Staff
3) Planting a new church
The result was a stewardship campaign that was focused on helping us accomplish these goals. "Building the Future" isn't just about building a structure - it's about building our faith, our connections to one another, and to celebrate with thanksgiving all that God has done for us.
Here's an update on where we are with this great campaign:
Future Facilities: We have a new Facility Leadership Team looking at our best options for our church. They meet frequently to discover what our new facility could look like and how much this type of ministry center will cost us. Team Leader: Rod Koning
Additional Staff: In May of 2007, High Pointe was blessed to bring on board our newest staff member, Pastor Mark Ambrose. Pastor Mark is working with our teens and their families. God continues to bless this ministry area with new faces and great Biblical teaching. Thank you Lord for answered prayer!
Church Planting: This area of ministry continues to be a source of great passion. We recognize that the best way to reach the greatest amount of people for the Kingdom of Christ, we need to be a church who plants churches. While we are currently focused on the construction of our first ministry center, we believe that planting a new church will follow soon after we move into this facility. Join us as we pray for His Will to be done!
How can you get involved with the BTF Campaign:
It's never too late to get involved in our Building the Future campaign. You can get involved by giving (pledging to give funds toward our financial goals), by serving (getting involved in a ministry or leadership team) and in praying (seeking the Lord's wisdom and church protection & unity).
Pray now for:
1) The sale of our High Pointe East property.
2) For additional pledges to come in.
3) For the faith to believe this dream can, and will, become a reality!
If you have not had a chance to pledge, we want to encourage you to do so! Pledge cards are available at the Welcome Table each Sunday. You may pledge a one time amount, or any amount to be given weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. God blesses a cheerful giver and we believe that God will bless greatly for giving. All pledge cards can be placed in our offering baskets during our worship services.
